Since, I've been back to podunkville, I've been swamped with work yet again. I'm behind catching up on emails, behind re-connecting with peeps, behind, behind, behind. In the midst of this stress, one of our employees comes running in with a copy of his music video. What a nice de-stresser. I can make up words cuz I'm stressed.
Anyhow, this video just made my day. Most of our employees here are teenagers with some sort of musical hobby. There's nothing, nothing (not even a mall) here, so everyone has a hobby. And, I love encouraging their hobbies, as it is so easy in this town to get caught up in the wrong stuff. Even though, the music video might make them look otherwise, these kids are really good kids. And, for most, MoMo's is their home. I'm so happy for that as I truly believe there is a ministry here that is blossoming. Thanks be to JC!
Anyways, sorry, I get sidetracked. I just had to share this video. This might be just an inside funny thang because I know these guys, but I just have to give them recognition for their ingenious work. You'll see clips of our kitchen at the restaurant. You'll see where I get my ghetto--it's in the blood.

What an amazing 18 days. I came to Seattle with a cold, and I left with the same cold. That means, I had way too much fun. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera, but here are some moments that Scott was graciously able to capture:
